NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- TheStreet's Debra Borchardt was in the Big Apple reporting on Internet Week New York.

While she interacted with the companies' leaders, she began to noticed that Internet start-ups are flush with cash. "Internet start-ups are having no trouble raising capital," she says. "It seems there is plenty of money going around."

One company highlighted was Art sy, whose goal is to take the world's art collection and make it widely available to everyone through the Internet. The company was able to raise $13 million in their latest round of funding. "It has been a huge part of our success," the company said.

Art sy is just one of many Internet start-ups currently thriving at raising capital. It appears that investors have confidence going forward and looking for strong growth to continue.
