Dean has a market cap of $3.8 billion and is part of the consumer goods sector and food & beverage industry. Shares are up 20.8% year to date as of the close of trading on Wednesday.

Dean Foods Company, a food and beverage company, processes and distributes milk, other fluid dairy products, and plant-based beverages. The company operates in two segments, Fresh Dairy Direct and WhiteWave. The company has a P/E ratio of 28.7, above the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7.
