NEW YORK, May 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Hannibal Buress is bringing his swagger and laid back, cerebral comedic style to COMEDY CENTRAL in a big way. The #1 brand in comedy has signed Buress to a wide-ranging, multiplatform development deal which includes a recurring role on the upcoming scripted series "Broad City," a commitment for a pilot which Buress will executive produce, and a one-hour original stand-up special, all produced by 3 Arts, as well as a major market, nationwide "COMEDY CENTRAL Live" stand-up tour, it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Content Development and Original Programming, COMEDY CENTRAL. "Hannibal Buress has one of the great names in comedy," said Alterman. "I pray he doesn't change it." "This is really exciting," said Buress. "I can finally quit my day job at Quiznos.
