Union Pacific Reaches New 52-Week High (UNP)

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Union Pacific (NYSE: UNP) hit a new 52-week high Tuesday as it is currently trading at $155.49, above its previous 52-week high of $155.45 with 271,324 shares traded as of 10:41 a.m. ET. Average volume has been 1.9 million shares over the past 30 days.

Union Pacific has a market cap of $72.02 billion and is part of the services sector and transportation industry. Shares are up 22.4% year to date as of the close of trading on Monday.

Union Pacific Corporation, through its subsidiary, Union Pacific Railroad Company, provides rail transportation services in North America. The company has a P/E ratio of 18.1, above the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7.
