Informatica Names Polycom President And CEO Andrew M. Miller To Board Of Directors

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 7, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Informatica Corporation (Nasdaq: INFA), the world's number oneindependent provider of data integration software, today announcedthat Andrew M. Miller will join the Informatica board of directorseffective May 28, 2013. Currently president and CEO of Polycom,Miller brings a 30-year track record of executive and salesleadership experience at a broad range of organizations fromcategory leaders to industry giants.

Miller was appointed Polycom's President and Chief ExecutiveOfficer in May 2010 and became a member of the board of directorsshortly thereafter. He joined Polycom, the global leader in open,standards based unified communications and collaboration(UC&C), in July 2009 as executive vice president of GlobalField Operations. In that position Miller was responsible forPolycom's go-to-market strategy, including the sales, channel,alliances and sales engineering organizations.

From 1990 to 2001, Miller led high-growth sales organizationsfor networking leader, Cisco. From 2001 to 2006, Miller was CEO atone of the communications category leaders, Tandberg. And, prior tojoining Polycom, Miller was global president of IPC InformationSystems, where he was responsible for sales, marketing, operationsand engineering.
