(Nasdaq:SMED) ("Sharps" or the "Company"), a leading full-service provider of solutions for the cost-effective management of medical waste, used healthcare materials and unused dispensed medications, announced that it will release its third quarter fiscal year 2013 results (ended March 31, 2013) before the opening of financial markets on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. A conference call and webcast will follow at 11:00 a.m. ET, in which management will discuss the Company's financial results, key market initiatives and business strategy, followed by a question-and-answer session.
