NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- United Community Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: UCFC) has been upgraded by TheStreet Ratings from sell to hold. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its solid stock price performance, good cash flow from operations and expanding profit margins. Although UCFC had significant growth over the past year, our hold rating indicates that we do not recommend additional investment in this stock at the current time.
  • Net operating cash flow has significantly increased by 98.98% to -$0.84 million when compared to the same quarter last year. In addition, UNITED COMMUNITY FINL CORP has also vastly surpassed the industry average cash flow growth rate of 46.47%.
  • The gross profit margin for UNITED COMMUNITY FINL CORP is currently very high, coming in at 76.20%. It has increased from the same quarter the previous year. Regardless of the strong results of the gross profit margin, the net profit margin of 10.49% trails the industry average.
