Dow Hits All-Time High

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit an all-time high shortly after market open on Tuesday, reaching 14,191.

The Dow's previous all-time high was 14,164.53, set on Oct. 9, 2007.

The blue-chip index had booked its second-highest close on Monday.
