Compuware APM Achieves Certified Integration With SAP NetWeaver(R)

Compuware APM Delivers Performance Visibility Across the Entire Application Delivery Chain to Help Customers and Service Providers Improve Service and Support

DETROIT, Feb. 27, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq:CPWR), the technology performance company, today announced that Compuware APM 12.0 has achieved certified integration with the SAP NetWeaver ® technology platform. Through this integration, Compuware APM helps improve an organization's ability to monitor system performance.

Compuware APM is a leader in application performance management (APM) technology and monitors environments running solutions from SAP and other providers. Compuware APM offers broad application and technology platform support and complements SAP ® Solution Manager to provide comprehensive real-user monitoring for SAP solutions. Through the integration with SAP NetWeaver, it enables customers and service providers to optimize service and support by identifying the true fault domain for performance issues across the entire application delivery chain, enabling the right operations and support personnel to focus on immediate resolution.

"We are very excited to announce SAP certification of Compuware APM," said John Van Siclen, General Manager for Compuware's APM business unit. "We have been a long-standing SAP partner, and we are focused on continuing to deliver market-leading APM solutions for our customers and service providers. The best operated businesses run SAP solutions, and they expect superior technology performance. With the integration of Compuware APM with SAP NetWeaver, we enable IT organizations and service providers to monitor and deliver the best user experiences to their end customers."

The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that Compuware APM 12.0 integrates with SAP NetWeaver 7.01 and demonstrates capabilities of monitoring system performance and metrics.

Compuware APM offers a 360-degree view of end-user experience performance with the ability to proactively monitor system performance and metrics. The solution enables visibility of application performance and availability and, when issues arise, pinpoints the offending component in the application delivery chain of a customer's mission-critical implementation -- wherever it occurs within the service delivery chain.
