Tempur-Pedic International Inc. manufactures, markets, and distributes bedding products in North America and internationally. It offers mattresses, pillows, and adjustable bed bases, as well as various cushions and other comfort products. Tempur-Pedic International has a market cap of $2.3 billion and is part of the consumer goods sector. The company has a P/E ratio of 22.6, above the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7. Shares are up 22% year to date as of the close of trading on Tuesday. Currently there are five analysts that rate Tempur-Pedic International a buy, no analysts rate it a sell, and eight rate it a hold.

TheStreet Ratings rates Tempur-Pedic International as a hold. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its expanding profit margins and notable return on equity. However, as a counter to these strengths, we also find weaknesses including deteriorating net income, premium valuation and weak operating cash flow.
