Privately held Kaleo will re-release its EpiPen alternative early next year.
Microsoft released upgrades and products Wednesday including "Surface Studio" for artists. Bill Gates, Microsoft's Co-Founder, appears below with an early computer running the Paint program, the first of its kind.
Mylan's (MYL) own generic version of the EpiPen should outperform Kaleo's Auvi-Q, due out in 2017, Mizuho's Irina Koffler said.
A more affordable competitor to Mylan's MYL EpiPen is set to enter the market earlier than expected, and will likely pose a threat to the autoinjector's dominance in the space.
