BlackRock Advisors, LLC today announced that the Board of Trustees of BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust IV (NYSE:BTZ, the “Trust”) has approved a name change for the Trust. Effective February 11, 2013, BTZ’s name will be “BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust”. This change was made following the completion of the reorganization of BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust I, Inc. (formerly NYSE:PSW), BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust II, Inc. (formerly NYSE:PSY) and BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust III (formerly NYSE:BPP) with and into BTZ in December 2012. The change announced today relates only to the Trust’s name and the Trust will continue to trade on the NYSE under its current ticker symbol.
