Wood has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Engineering, Construction, and Operations. Mr. Wood will assume responsibility for all engineering, construction, and operations efforts in the Rockies Region. Mr. Wood has over 32 years of experience working in the Rocky Mountain region developing, building, and operating midstream facilities. Prior to his current role, he served as Vice President and Regional Manager for the Rockies Region from the time that he joined Summit Investments in April 2012 until January 2013. Prior to joining Summit Investments, Mr. Wood worked for nine years as the South Rockies Midstream Team Leader for Encana, executing and operating midstream projects in the DJ, Paradox, and Piceance basins, where his teams developed midstream assets to support a 1.2 Bcf/day gathering system. Prior to Encana, Mr. Wood worked for four years as General Manager - Rocky Mountain Operations for Duke Energy Field Services and 20 years with Union Pacific Resources where he served various engineering, project management, and leadership roles developing a large midstream asset base in Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado. Mr. Wood is a graduate of New Mexico State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Mr. Wood will report to Steve Newby, President and CEO of Summit Investments.
