Coca-Cola has a market cap of $168.37 billion and is part of the consumer goods sector. The company has a P/E ratio of 19.6, above the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7. Shares are up 3.6% year to date as of the close of trading on Monday. Currently there are 11 analysts that rate Coca-Cola a buy, one analyst rates it a sell, and five rate it a hold.

The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its increase in stock price during the past year, revenue growth, reasonable valuation levels, expanding profit margins and good cash flow from operations. Although the company may harbor some minor weaknesses, we feel they are unlikely to have a significant impact on results.

On the negative front, Tofutti Brands ( TOF), down 6.4%, Tianli Agritech ( OINK), down 5.6%, Central European Distribution ( CEDC), down 4.6%, and Castle Brands Incorporated ( ROX), down 3.6%, were all laggards within the food & beverage industry with Constellation Brands ( STZ) being today's food & beverage industry laggard.
