Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today it has renewed its contract with Glaxo Wellcome Manufacturing Pte Ltd (GSK) as alliance contractor at GSK’s two manufacturing facilities in Singapore. The renewal is a continuation of the initial alliance program with GSK in Singapore. Officials did not disclose the contract value, however noted the contract is for two years, with the option to be renewed for an additional two years. Under the terms of the alliance contract, Jacobs is providing engineering, procurement, project management, construction management and validation services. Jacobs Group Vice President Tom Quinn stated, “We are very pleased that GSK has renewed its alliance partnership with Jacobs. This is the continuation of a ten year working relationship between Jacobs and GSK in Singapore.
