Facebook, Apple, RIM, Yahoo!: Tech Premarket

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Facebook ( FB) gained 1.24% to reach $31.93 in premarket trading Monday amid positive analyst sentiment ahead of the company's fourth-quarter results on Wednesday.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch reiterated its Facebook "buy" rating on Monday, citing expected revenue acceleration and upside from mobile.

The social networker was also the most active premarket Nasdaq stock on share volume of 519,024.

Apple ( AAPL) crept up 0.2% to $440.75 before market open. The iPhone maker's shares slumped 15% last week as investors responded to the company's first-quarter revenue miss.

The Cupertino, Calif.-based firm was also one of the most active premarket Nasdaq stocks on share volume of 189,515.

Research In Motion ( RIMM) which unveils its BlackBerry 10 technology on Wednesday, gained 1.48% to reach $17.80 on share volume of 94,216.

Netflix ( NFLX) was a big premarket winner, rising 2.71% to $174.16.

Microsoft ( MSFT) was up 0.43% to $28 amid ongoing rumors that the software maker could potentially take a stake in Dell ( DELL).

Sirius XM ( SIRI) shares were unchanged at $3.15 on share volume of 69,366.

Yahoo! ( YHOO), which reports its fourth-quarter results after market close, rose 0.83% to $20.54 before market open.
