PartnerRe Reaches New 52-Week High (PRE)

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- PartnerRe (NYSE: PRE) hit a new 52-week high Tuesday as it is currently trading at $84.86, above its previous 52-week high of $84.85 with 176,956 shares traded as of 1:10 p.m. ET. Average volume has been 507,900 shares over the past 30 days.

PartnerRe has a market cap of $5.12 billion and is part of the financial sector and insurance industry. Shares are up 3.8% year to date as of the close of trading on Friday.

PartnerRe Ltd., through its subsidiaries, provides reinsurance services worldwide. The company has a P/E ratio of 5.7, below the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7.
