Retired Marine Colonel Stephen P. Corcoran Named Director, Cyber Strategy For Telos Corporation

Col. Stephen P. Corcoran, recently retired commander of Joint Communications Support Element of U.S. Transportation Command, has joined Telos® Corporation’s Cyber Operations and Defense group as director, Cyber Strategy.

Corcoran previously served at U.S. Central Command’s chief of operations and planning for the Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Systems Directorate supporting Operations Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

“Maintaining operational security while working collaboratively among agencies and allied nations is the reality for today’s warfighter,” said Brendan Malloy, senior vice president and general manager, Cyber Operations and Defense for Telos. “Steve’s vast experience integrating C4 operations for joint and allied forces will prove invaluable for our customers.”

Under Corcoran’s leadership, JCSE provided tactical communications for joint commands, incorporating the latest communications technologies to solve communications and interoperability issues among services, coalitions and host nation partners.

Upon graduation from William Paterson University, Corcoran was commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. He holds master’s degrees from the Marine Corps Command and Staff College as well as the College of Naval Warfare.
