Regions Insurance, an affiliate of Regions Bank, today announced the expansion of its employee benefits practice in Memphis. Effective January 1, 2013, Argyle Benefits Consultants, LLC, led by founding partner Philip Johnson, will join the Memphis office of Regions Insurance.
Merriam has 30 years of experience in insurance and employee benefits consulting. He is former president of the Memphis chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and the Association of Health Insurance Advisors. He holds a Chartered Life Underwriter professional designation. Merriam is a graduate of The University of Memphis.Rogers, with 15 years of insurance experience, is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and is a 2011 graduate of the New Memphis Institute, formerly known as The Leadership Academy. He is actively involved in a number of Memphis community organizations, including teaching at Advance Memphis and serving on the development board for Church Health Center. Rogers is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. This expansion is the second significant addition to Regions Insurance during the fourth quarter of 2012.
