Parker Aerospace, a business segment of Parker Hannifin Corporation (NYSE: PH), the global leader in motion and control technologies, announced today that it will overhaul and recertify the Danfoss series of high-pressure water pumps for power generation industry applications, including turbine inlet air cooling and fire suppression. Danfoss — the preferred provider of high-pressure water pumps to power generation industry leaders, including General Electric, Rolls-Royce, and Siemens — selected Parker for its desired global support network and world-class inspection, overhaul, and service facilities. Rodney Kohler, global gas turbine product manager of Danfoss high-pressure water pumps, stated, “Danfoss is proud to align its high-pressure water pumps with Parker’s premier customer service organization.” Working in collaboration with the Parker Aerospace Customer Support Organization, the initial overhaul and recertification work will be performed at Parker’s Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division facility in Devens, Massachusetts. The Devens facility is Federal Aviation Association certified and military compliant for the overhaul and support of lubrication and thermal management pumps. The Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division also has overhaul facilities in Glendale, Arizona, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
