It is our honor to meet some of the Harris family’s technology needs,” said Fred Cuen, general manager and senior vice president of Avnet Technology Solutions’ IBM Solutions business unit. “We are also proud of our employees for volunteering their personal time to give back to our community.” Avnet was invited to participate through its association with Morgan’s Wonderland, the world’s first recreation park built to accommodate people with special needs. To date, Avnet employees have volunteered more than 440 hours, welcoming park visitors, assisting them on rides and activities and serving food. “Partnering with Morgan’s Wonderland on both projects has been extremely rewarding for Avnet and its employees,” said Cuen. “Avnet’s community outreach focuses on organizations that serve children and need technology, and in helping the Harris family, we were able to bring both commitments together.”
