NEW YORK (AP) â¿¿ Shares of some top silver companies were mixed at the close of trading: Hecla Mining Co. fell $.41 or 6.5 percent, to $5.92. Pan American Silver Corp. rose $.22 or 1.0 percent, to $21.61. Silver Standard Resources Inc. rose $.46 or 3.2 percent, to $14.67. Silver Wheaton rose $.55 or 1.4 percent, to $39.53.
