(Jack) London has been inducted as the 2012 Hall of Fame laureate at the Greater Washington Government Contractor (GovCon) Awards at its gala held on November 1 st in Washington, D.C. Dr. London was recognized for his lifetime achievement and long-term contributions to the industry at a gathering of over 1,000 industry colleagues at the Wardman Park Marriott Hotel. The GovCon Awards is the premier event honoring the leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence of the people and businesses in the Washington, D.C. metro government contracting community. 2012 marks the 10 th anniversary of these prestigious awards, which are sponsored by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, Professional Services Council, and Washington Technology. Dr. London is the 10 th inductee to the Hall of Fame. He also belongs to the Washington Business Hall of Fame and the Arlington, Virginia Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame, both lifetime achievement awards honoring Dr. London’s major positive impact on the business and civic life of these communities. Dr. London’s selection recognizes his achievement in growing CACI from a small consulting firm into a worldwide information solutions and services company serving vital national needs in defense, intelligence, homeland security, and the modernization of government.
