Sirius XM Radio Inc. provides satellite radio services in the United States and Canada. The company broadcasts approximately 135 channels, including music, sports, entertainment, comedy, talk, news, traffic, and weather channels on subscription fee basis through two satellite radio systems. Sirius XM Radio has a market cap of $14.47 billion and is part of the services sector. The company has a P/E ratio of 5.3, below the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7. Shares are up 54.4% year to date as of the close of trading on Thursday. Currently there are seven analysts that rate Sirius XM Radio a buy, one analyst rates it a sell, and three rate it a hold.

TheStreet Ratings rates Sirius XM Radio as a buy. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its revenue growth, solid stock price performance, impressive record of earnings per share growth, compelling growth in net income and notable return on equity. Although no company is perfect, currently we do not see any significant weaknesses which are likely to detract from the generally positive outlook.

On the negative front, KIT Digital ( KITD), down 14.2%, Dolan ( DM), down 13.8%, Radio Center Group ( RC), down 9.7%, and National CineMedia ( NCMI), down 9.4%, were all laggards within the media industry with Time Warner ( TWX) being today's media industry laggard.
