Its Agriculture segment provides hybrid corn and soybean seeds, and grains under the Pioneer brand name; and herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides. E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company has a market cap of $42.13 billion and is part of the basic materials sector. The company has a P/E ratio of 13.8, below the average chemicals industry P/E ratio of 14 and below the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7. Shares are down 1.3% year to date as of the close of trading on Tuesday.
