Update: Free Doritos® Locos Tacos For America Today, Oct. 30 From 2-6 P.m. Local Time

Major League Baseball and Taco Bell® fans were hungry for a stolen base during the 2012 World Series for a big reason – free Taco Bell Doritos® Locos Tacos. Now, thanks to Angel Pagan of the San Francisco Giants and his late inning swipe of second base that fed his team the insurance run it needed during Game 2, Taco Bell is feeding that hunger by giving out millions of its best-selling taco for free.

After the game, when told about winning Doritos® Locos Tacos for the entire country, Pagan said, “Most importantly we won the game, but I couldn't be happier my stolen base won free tacos for America. Thanks to Taco Bell, with my stolen base, everyone wins.”

Everyone in America can redeem their one free taco by visiting any participating Taco Bell location on Oct. 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (local time).

While we want everyone to get their free Doritos Locos Taco from the Steal a Base, Steal a Taco promotion, our top priority is the well-being of our team members and customers during this massive storm. In the affected areas, we are now focused on feeding first responders and reopening our restaurants. Our operators are handling this on a case-by-case basis, and the restaurants that are able to reopen today will honor the free taco giveaway from 2-6 PM local time. Restaurants unable to open will give out free Doritos Locos Tacos at a date to be determined. Participating Taco Bell locations not affected will continue to reward America with their free Doritos Locos Tacos today, October 30 from 2-6 PM local time.

No purchase necessary. Subject to official rules found in-store and online at www.mlb.com/stealataco. Eligible consumers can obtain their free Doritos® Locos Tacos on Oct. 30 only. To obtain the free taco, consumers must visit any participating Taco Bell® location in one of the fifty (50) United States or District of Columbia between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. (local time) on Oct. 30 only and request one free Doritos® Locos Tacos, whiles supplies last.
