In partnership with Local Government Online (LoGO) Indiana, a subsidiary of NIC, the Marion County Clerk’s Office is now making tax warrant information available online at indygov.biz for a nominal fee. Prior to this change, only those users with a monthly account agreement were able to access this information. Now any person can review Marion County’s tax warrant and summons/service of process information electronically by using their debit or credit card information. The cost to initiate the search and review the information is $2.04. “Our physical location in the City-County Building is open for a limited time each day, but our online services can be accessed anytime from the convenience of a person’s home or office,” Clerk White said. “These two new services will enhance access to the court’s public information, which I hope will benefit our customers because they may no longer need to make a trip downtown.” The new services are available by visiting http://www.indy.gov/eGov/County/Clerk/ and selecting the ‘Online Access to Public Records’ or by visiting http://www.indygov.biz and selecting the ‘Court Records’ menu option.
