(Nasdaq: TATT - News), a leading provider of services and products to the commercial and military aerospace and ground defense industries, today announced that a lender to its controlling stockholder, KMN Industries Ltd. ("KMN"), has filed a petition in the Tel Aviv- Jaffa District Court to enforce liens granted to such lender by KMN in certain collaterals including KMN's holdings of an approximately 80% ownership interest in TAT Industries Ltd. (which owns approximately 43.60% of TAT) and KMN's direct holdings in TAT (which represents about 10.2% of TAT). According to the decision of the Court, such petition shall be heard on October 30, 2012. If such liens are enforced, such collaterals are subject to sale which could result in a change of control of TAT.
