NEW YORK (AP) â¿¿ Shares of some top silver companies were mixed at the close of trading: Hecla Mining Co. fell $.05 or .7 percent, to $6.62. Pan American Silver Corp. rose $.13 or .6 percent, to $21.80. Silver Standard Resources Inc. fell $.24 or 1.5 percent, to $15.66. Silver Wheaton fell $.42 or 1.1 percent, to $38.80.
