Liberty Global, Inc. (“Liberty Global”) (Nasdaq: LBTYA, LBTYB and LBTYK) announced the winners of its 2012 ‘Vendor Awards’ at the ‘Liberty Global Technology Summit’ in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Senior management from 80 key vendor partners attended the event together with Liberty Global's senior management in the areas of technology, IT, product development and procurement. The company recognized its partners’ achievements in four categories: ‘Best Product & Service Quality', 'Best Support & After Sales’, ‘Best Innovation/Breakthrough Supplier’ and the ‘Best Technology Pitch’ at the Liberty Global Technology Summit. The award for ‘Best Product & Service Quality' was won by Arris, while Technetix won the 'Best Support & After Sales’ award. The award for ‘Best Innovation/Breakthrough Supplier’ went to a group of four partners who jointly contributed to online video platform delivery: Kit Digital, Empathy Lab, thePlatform and Intellicore. The fourth award winner for ‘Best Technology Pitch’ was MirriAd, as selected by the audience at the Summit, which mostly consisted of representatives from key vendor partners as well as Liberty Global employees. The winners of the first three Liberty Global Technology Awards are selected based on input from a large number of senior executives across the entire Liberty Global group.
