FORTUNE Magazine Names Ascena Retail Group, Inc. To '100 Fastest-Growing Companies' List

Ascena Retail Group, Inc. (NASDAQ - ASNA), has been named to FORTUNE Magazine’s List of '100 Fastest-Growing Companies'. The Company, ranked overall 58 th, earned top 100 rankings in profit growth, sales growth and as a best investment.

FORTUNE’S annual list of high achievers is a guide to the most vibrant part of corporate America and beyond. To qualify for the "100 Fastest-Growing Companies" list, a company must have been trading continuously on a major U.S. stock exchange since June 30, 2009 with a minimum market capitalization of $250 million. Companies must have revenue and net income of at least $50 million and $10 million, respectively, for the four quarters ended on or before April 30, 2012 and have posted an annualized growth in revenue and earnings per share of at least 20% annually over the three years ended on or before April 30, 2012. Companies that meet these criteria are ranked by revenue growth, EPS growth, and three-year annualized total return.
