NEW YORK (AP) â¿¿ Shares of some top silver companies were up at the close of trading: Hecla Mining Co. rose $.29 or 5.2 percent, to $5.82. Pan American Silver Corp. rose $.46 or 2.5 percent, to $19.04. Silver Standard Resources Inc. rose $.07 or .5 percent, to $15.17. Silver Wheaton rose $.64 or 1.8 percent, to $36.35.
