NEW YORK (AP) â¿¿ Shares of some top silver companies were mixed at the close of trading: Hecla Mining Co. rose $.09 or 1.7 percent, to $5.53. Pan American Silver Corp. rose $.56 or 3.1 percent, to $18.58. Silver Standard Resources Inc. fell $.02 or .1 percent, to $15.10. Silver Wheaton rose $.55 or 1.6 percent, to $35.71.
