ManTech International Corporation (NASDAQ:MANT) has promoted Eric Eifert to senior vice president of its Cyber Defense Solutions business unit. Eifert will be responsible for growing ManTech’s cyber defense services and capabilities across the spectrum of ManTech’s customers. Eifert joined the company in 2001 as a computer forensics engineer and made significant contributions that helped to establish a more advanced forensics and security research capability. “ManTech’s success is largely due to our team’s deeper understanding of how to stay ahead in a fast-paced, changing threat landscape,” said Eifert. “We get to do what we love every day, are never short of challenges and are constantly developing new technologies, tactics and tools that get results. I am excited to continue leading our cyber defense services and build on our team’s successes and talent.” President and COO of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber, and Intelligence Solutions group, L. William Varner said, “Eric has built an outstanding cyber defense business over the decade and we look forward to him leading us to even greater success in the future. He is also a great example of a talented engineer who has built an excellent reputation doing something that he enjoys and ultimately- making a difference.” Prior to joining ManTech, Eifert was a Special Agent and Computer Crime Investigator for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI).
