American Financial Group, Inc. Announces Notice Of Redemption Of 7⅛% Debentures

American Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE/NASDAQ: AFG) announced today that it has given notice of its intention to redeem all of the outstanding 7⅛% Senior Debentures due 2034 (the “Senior Debentures”). The Senior Debentures, which have an outstanding principal balance of $115 million, will be redeemed on September 28, 2012, at 100% of principal plus accrued and unpaid interest to the redemption date. The Senior Debentures are listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the trading symbol “AFE.”
