Fuel Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTEK), a world leader in advanced engineering solutions for combustion and emissions control systems for utility and industrial applications, today announced receipt of three air pollution control orders in China totaling $2.3 million. Two orders were received from coal-fired power generators for ULTRA™ projects in China. Both orders were placed by existing customers for coal-fired units that are being retrofitted with nitrogen oxide (NO x) reduction technology. Equipment deliveries for these projects are expected to occur in the fourth quarter of this year and the first quarter of next year. One additional order was received for NOx control technology from an industrial customer in China. The order, placed by an existing customer, is for a Low NOx Burner (LNB) and Over-Fire Air (OFA) project on one unit. The equipment delivery for the project is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year. Douglas G.
