NEW YORK (AP) â¿¿ Shares of some top silver companies are up at 10 a.m.: Hecla Mining Co. rose $.24 or 4.8 percent, to $5.22. Pan American Silver Corp. rose $.35 or 2.1 percent, to $17.16. Silver Standard Resources Inc. rose $.54 or 4.1 percent, to $13.83. Silver Wheaton rose $1.55 or 4.8 percent, to $33.94.
