NEW YORK (AP) â¿¿ Shares of some top silver companies were mixed at the close of trading: Hecla Mining Co. fell $.02 or .4 percent, to $4.71. Pan American Silver Corp. fell $.04 or .3 percent, to $15.79. Silver Standard Resources Inc. fell $.46 or 3.4 percent, to $13.01. Silver Wheaton rose $.11 or .4 percent, to $30.64.
