NEW YORK (AP) â¿¿ Shares of some top silver companies are up at 1 p.m.: Hecla Mining Co. rose $.05 or 1.1 percent, to $4.69. Pan American Silver Corp. rose $.21 or 1.3 percent, to $15.80. Silver Standard Resources Inc. rose $.26 or 2.0 percent, to $13.41. Silver Wheaton rose $1.67 or 5.8 percent, to $30.35.
