NEW YORK (AP) â¿¿ Shares of some top silver companies were up at the close of trading: Hecla Mining Co. rose $.15 or 3.3 percent, to $4.70. Pan American Silver Corp. rose $.61 or 4.1 percent, to $15.51. Silver Standard Resources Inc. rose $.60 or 4.8 percent, to $13.16. Silver Wheaton rose $.71 or 2.6 percent, to $28.33.
