NEW YORK (AP) â¿¿ Shares of some top silver companies were mixed at the close of trading: Hecla Mining Co. rose $.10 or 2.2 percent, to $4.66. Pan American Silver Corp. rose $.25 or 1.8 percent, to $14.31. Silver Standard Resources Inc. fell $.06 or .5 percent, to $12.70. Silver Wheaton rose $.24 or .9 percent, to $27.48.
