ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., July 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- New Mexico Software, Inc., d/b/aNet Medical Xpress (OTC Bulletin Board NMXC), announced today that in response to demands from the company's hospital customer base it is expanding its rapidly growing teleradiology/cardiology service into the hospital market. Net Medical Xpress offers clinical and diagnostic programs using advanced telemedicine solutions for hospitals. The company also develops and sells FDA 510k cleared all-inclusive PACS products for the medical market. Net Medical Xpress CEO Dick Govatski said, "In June we hired four new project account coordinators to help us expand our customer base in Texas and New Mexico. We currently have 20 hospitals out of 35 in New Mexico committed to new clinical services through Net Medical Xpress. This month we have three more customers beginning service. The service is being very well received, although it takes about four to five months to begin service due to credentialing, logistic and training issues that take time. "Based on customer response and other reaction from the market, we are preparing to expand beyond New Mexico into Texas, Colorado, Arizona, California, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas. We are currently interviewing and planning to add additional project managers to the team in order to help us expand our sales," Govatski said. Net Medical Xpress' Specialist Program provides medical specialists to rural medical facilities on an as needed basis eliminating the need for and cost of full time staffing in infrequently needed specialties. The web-based program enables specialists located in population centers with the ability to make real-time assessments of patients at rural medical facilities through a secure and HIPAA compliant video examination, eliminating unnecessary transport that places additional financial burden and emotional strain on patients.
