Also taking place on the evening of Saturday, August 11 is a once-in-a-generation event saluting WWII veterans and their families hosted by Milwaukee’s Stars and Stripes Honor Flight organization. The event, “Field of Honor,” will take place at Miller Park Stadium from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m., and will feature a full length documentary of previous honor flights, the Pillars of Honor WWII Memorial and fireworks.
