UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTC: CMGR) ("Camelot") and Camelot Distribution Group ("CDG") announced that principal photography begins today on WIENER DOG NATIONALS, in Los Angeles, California. This family friendly, live action film is written and directed by Kevan Peterson of Fromage Pictures and is about a family uniting when their newly adopted dachshund races for the championship title. The cast includes Jason London ( Dazed and Confused) as the dad Phil Jack, Alicia Witt ( Two Weeks Notice, 88 Minutes, Vanilla Sky) as Melanie, the race coordinator and Phil's love interest, "Mad Men" star Bryan Batt as Judge Brown, and Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominee Morgan Fairchild as the wicked Miss Merryweather. Also cast is Nickelodeon's Austin Anderson ("Victorious"), Julian Feder, and Caitlin Carmichael ( Conception). Anderson will also be performing a song for the soundtrack of the film. The famous hotdog fast food chain Wienerschnitzel, serves as an inspiration to the film from their famous Wiener Nationals dachshund races held every year all over the country and is signed on to cross-promote the film during release.
