Solera National Bank Announces Community Spirit Grant Campaign For Denver-Area Non-Profits

Solera National Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Solera National Bancorp, Inc. (OTCBB:SLRK), announced today the launch of its Community Spirit Grant Campaign for Denver-area 501(c)(3)non-profits operating within Colorado. A $2,000 cash grant will be awarded to the non-profit that presents the most creative and compelling video via Solera’s Facebook Video Contest Tab.

“Since the inception of Solera National Bank, we have been deeply involved with our community, from supporting non-profit events to encouraging our employees to serve on non-profit boards,” said President/CEO Doug Crichfield. “Our goal with this campaign is to engage with our community in a different way.”

Any Denver-area non-profit can enter by posting a video on the Community Spirit Grant Contest App on the Bank’s Facebook page. The goal is for the non-profit to get as many votes as possible, which they can do by sharing their contest entry with friends and supporters, across their social media platforms.

The contest and voting will run from July 2nd through August 27th. On August 27th, Solera will place the six most popular entries into a finalist pool. The finalist entries will be judged based on the most creative presentation of the video, the most compelling message, and the impact their non-profit has on the community. The winner will be announced at Solera’s 5 th Anniversary celebration on September 13, as well as on Facebook, Twitter and via email.

“We hope entrants will be creative and compelling with these videos,” said Crichfield. “We encourage people to include links to their donation pages to raise funds during and after the contest. But, most of all, we hope participants have fun.”
