Philips Speech Processing, the market leader in professional dictation systems, today announced it was named the most popular supplier of dictation solutions for professional users based on Gelszus rmm Marketing Research's 2011 survey. Specifically, the study concluded that more than 80 percent of respondents recommended Philips Speech Processing products, and 85 percent of the respondents said the company provides the most user-friendly software on the market because it is easy to implement into current workflow patterns. Gelszus rmm Marketing Research, which is part of Walker Global Network and specializes in customer loyalty management research, conducted the survey in late 2011. The organization surveyed more than 17,500 global users of dictation devices across a variety of industries, including doctors, journalists and architects, among others, and asked them about their preferences regarding professional dictation devices. According to the survey, almost 80 percent of respondents recognized the growing trend and need for professional dictation for daily business activities. In addition, this group identified that dictation technology can help simplify business processes without compromising on quality. “Customers want quick and straight-forward solutions to their problems and voice technology of all varieties can achieve that desire,” says Thomas Brauner, managing director at Philips Speech Processing. “Since they are willing to invest money in our solutions, we strive not only to provide devices and software with the best speech and sound quality available, but we also work to provide solutions that will solve business issues and streamline workflow processes for any profession.” Another key finding of the study was that product quality and customer service also rank among the top attributes dictation users look for when selecting a digital dictation device. More than 70 percent of respondents indicated that Philips Speech Processing was the preferred vendor for customer service and straightforward solutions to their issues.
