March New-Home Sales at 328,000

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- New-home sales in March fell 7.1% to a 328,000 annual rate in March, according to the Commerce Department, from a revised 353,000 units in February.

Economists expected new-home sales to rise to 320,000 from the 313,000 originally reported in February.
