First Trust Energy Income and Growth Fund (the “Fund”) (NYSE Amex: FEN) has increased its regularly scheduled quarterly distribution to $0.485 per share from $0.480 per share. The distribution will be payable on April 30, 2012 to shareholders of record as of April 24, 2012. The ex-dividend date is expected to be April 20, 2012.
