U.S. Jobless Claims Rise 13,000 to 380,000

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- U.S. jobless claims for the week ended April 7 rose 13,000 to 380,000.

Jobless claims for the prior week were revised to 367,000.

Economists were calling for initial claims of 355,000, down from last week's originally reported 357,000.
