Vantiv IPO Opens Higher

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Shares of Vantiv (VNTV) were rising Thursday on their first day of trading.

Shares of the payment processor rose 13.7% to $19.33. The initial public offering of Vantiv, formerly known as Fifth Third Processing Solutions, was priced on Wednesday at $17 a share.
